The Aedynian are knights clad in full plate, a soul binding each individual piece towards the center of its being as if by a gravitational force. Usually boasting a main weapon and side arm, a rondel or some form of other weaponry, these knights stand firm wherever they may be. Their voices ring out and echo within the metallic frame of their helm, ranging anywhere from the sweetest of feminine voices to the harshest of masculine ones. They tend to have specific heraldry on their tabards to showcase where they originated from, though for the most part they are unrecognizable as to who they were in life aside from the fact that their voice is the same if not similar.

Mental Changes
None.

Effects
Those who become an Aedynian lose their human body and therefore all of the benefits they had with it. They cannot feel in the same way regular people do as they are suits of knight armor, though they still feel pain as normal people do if hit against their armor, if only to a lesser degree.

Origins of Trait
These beings are considered cursed by some, as their very existence is based on being a mere suit of armor, forever haunted by the soul of its knight, long since gone. While most may think of them as undead, they don’t classify as such. The first Aedynian was a knight of Veltes, lost in his holy temple and brought back by some higher power watching over him. He was tasked to defend the rest of his order to his end, to which he did justly until his armor was destroyed and his soul went back to the world to the afterlife.

Acquisition
Aedynian’s are given this second chance at life by higher beings unknown to the world, tasked with defending their previous goal in life. More often than not, these people are holy knights part of now lost orders. The intricacies of their creation is unknown, but in truth they are the most similar to that of heroic spirits in nature. Heroic knights of long lost orders bound to their armor in order to continue their quest, some having even nigh impossible goals for them to go through. This can explain their docile and noble nature in part. This resurrection by higher powers is what separates them from that of revenants or heroic spirits, cementing the very fact that they are not cursed, nor are they profane, nor brought back by any sort of mortal being’s will.

Mechanics
*Able to bend metal with their very hands, the Aedynian can repair and break metal at will if they can get their gauntleted hands on it. This metal needs to be touched by the Aedynian and can be their own or other pieces of metal.
*Should a hole be poked in their armor, their soul will start to seep from the inside of their bodies and into the world. It takes a variety of turns for their soul to escape this way, depending on how big the hole is.
*The soul of an Aedynian glows a faint white hue if seen from behind the armor. This soul fills the entirety of the armor, which is a husk. They need their soul fully inside the armor in order to live.
**Aedynian have the ability to manipulate their own soul to bring it back inside its body, but other than that cannot manipulate souls without a lit spark.
*Aedynian are capable of having any aurum type be it a spark, divinity or otherwise.
*When being revived by the ascended or otherwise, an Aedynian must either be put back into the suit of armor that is capable of holding them, or into their previous mortal body they had right before dying and being made into an Aedynian, be this body the same or remade for them.
*Intelligent, noble and generally docile.
*The Aedynian don't keep their former race's traits.
The Crystal Biome is a breathtaking sight. Filled with beauty and dangers alike, the biome is almost a living breathing organism. So much so, it has wants and needs. The most notable want is to make those within as beautiful as itself. When a person settles inside The Crystal Biome, or lingers for too long, the forest will begin to settle within them. These people are known as The Lucient. The Crystal Biome slowly crystallizes a person, making them one with their surroundings. However, not all who are affected survive the metamorphosis process...
</div>
----

Physical Changes
The Lucient had one very distinct physical attribute; Gem-like structures protruding from the Lucient’s skin. Each person affected with the trait would gain the physical appearance of one particular gem such as rubies, sapphires, or jades to name a few.

Once someone has started the process of becoming Lucient, the symptoms would be almost unnoticeable at first, however, after a sept, their skin would become noticeably itchy in the spots where gems would form. Overnight, the Lucient would have to undergo a painful process where the gems would break through their skin and form into full clusters.

These changes weren't all bad, however. The skin of a Lucient was thicker than normal, making them more resistant to slashing and piercing attacks. This was due to the gem’s symbiotic trait of trying to metamorphose the Lucient to be one with the biome and their lifespan doubled.

Gems had a rare chance to be grown in places that would hinder one of the five senses. Gems grew from their eyes, ears, or mouth causing their senses to be impaired or lost entirely.

Though often confused with a disease, Lucience was far more than that, it was a mutation that transformed the subject into something new entirely, offering more than what meets the eye, an indication of this, is the blood of a Lucient, which would have a noticeable pearlescent sheen once a Lucient had been fully assimilated. Something perhaps more noticeable was a change in eye color to that of the singular gem type they were bonded to. Depending on their skin tone or race the other color changes would also occur. Fur changing color, Scales assimilating to match the gem or even fey wings gaining a more crystal like appearance.

Mental Changes
There were little mental changes when becoming a Lucient. The most notable were the sense of protection and familial bond one would feel for not only the forest, but others who shared the mutation.

Effects
Those becoming Lucient were essentially being assimilated into the Crystal Biome. It’s not meant to harm the person, the goal is to condition them to be warriors who would protect the biome and others carrying the mutation. Because the Lucient were effectively being crystallized, their body became preserved, allowing them to live longer than they normally would. Once a part of the biome, Lucient affected creatures would tend to be passive towards one another unless provoked.

Origin of Trait
The Crystal Biome itself was said to be a relatively recent addition to Aversus. Before, it was a forest like any other, however, through a flimsy ritual between planar mages, a rift to a crystalline dimension was opened, and from it came a single bird with wings sharp as glass and as reflective as such. That bird would nest, mate, and die within the forest, and through this process, the crystal mutation spread rapidly. Over the course of a mense the entirety of the forest had been overtaken by gem structures, creatures, and even flora. Those living within the forest at the time of this change had a transformation of their own.

Some called it a disease, others called it a curse, but in truth, the forest had been mutated, becoming a collective of its own. What the forest wanted was soldiers, protectors, people who would defend it when others would fight the mutation and perhaps spread this mutation to other parts of the continent. Whatever the case, those undergoing the transformation into a Lucient became something greater than they once were, they became part of the collective.

Acquisition
There were a few ways for the mutation to take hold of a person. The first is prolonged activity within the Crystal Biome. After spending multiple septs inside of the biome, it was likely one would start to feel the itch of gems growing from their skin. Another, quicker acting way to have had the mutation spread was through the venomous bite of a Slithershard. Lastly, those already with the Lucience mutation could perform a small ritual on a person not yet carrying the mutation. The ritual differed from person to person, but the overarching similarity was the inclusion of blood contact.

Mechanics
*After being completely assimilated, Lucient would grow gems in patches generally on their shoulders, legs, and/or head. Each person had a unique gem to them such as common or more uncommon ones like sapphires, rubies or jades etc. Everyone only had one type.
*Things such as eye color and skin color changed to match the gem. This didn’t always occur and the skin color was only a very slight change compared to the brightness of the eye color. On most humanoid races hair did not change.
**Dryads, Satyrs and Centaurs could have their fur change color to match the gem.
**Syrien could have their scales change color to match their gems.
**Fey wings could change color and also become more fragile looking like they were made out of crystal lining.
*Lucience was not a disease, it doesn’t simply infect a person, it’s a mutation, completely transforming a person into something new, giving them the ability to better protect themselves and those within the crystal collective.
**The Lifespan of a Lucient was double what it would be for their respective race.
**The eyes of a Lucient became accustomed to bright lights, making them immune to being blinded by such.
**Weapons that do slashing or piercing damage; (Daggers, Arrows, etc.) would do minus two tiers of strength damage. Blunt weapons would do plus two what they normally would.
**When struck with a moderate/deep wound, over the course of two turns, gems would form over the wound to stop the bleeding, These gems weren’t directly attached to the Lucient and would break away after three turns, after which, the wound would need proper medical attention.
**Once per day, a Lucient could transform one of their limbs into a melee weapon made of the same gem that adorned their flesh. This weapon was a part of the Lucient and could not be larger than their own arm. If damaged, the pain and injury would transfer over. The strength of the weapon was comparable to steel.
*Gem veins on a Lucient were about the structural strength of solid glass, meaning that, like their skin, they were weak against blunt attacks. These gems were sensitive. Breaking a gem caused as much pain as breaking a bone.
**As part of the collective, all native creatures, Thunderbird, Crylem, Slithershards, etc, would be passive to a Lucient.
**Those without a physical body to mutate such as Aedynian, Golems, Ethereals, etc were immune to the Lucient mutation.

*Races that could contract Lucience:
**Humans
**Elves
**Halfbreeds
**Danakov
**Dwarves
**Dryad
**Satyr
**Halflings
**Centaurs
**Fey
**Syrien
*This trait would NOT combine with any curses.
Harran
</div>

Harran was a bit of an oddity. Though the youngest of the chosen of the Dragons, Harran was an arrogant, lustful chosen who sought nothing more than to increase his own power, and that of his master, no matter the qualms others may have with his decisions. Leaving nothing on the table but his full hand, Harran was an expert in sand-based magic and terramancy, and had even achieved the power akin to a philosopher's stone with his spark, allowing him to transmute any earthen material to anything which he pleased. He dressed in a turban, along with desert-based clothing filled with precious jewels and embroidery, and stood at a boastful 6'4.

<div style="color:#BFCB24;">
Description
</div>

Sal'uun was an ancient, and powerful dragon. Often seen in ancient desert Elven texts, it was commonly referred to as "The Betrayer." Bearing the diameter of 88 meters in length and 74 meters in width, this massive beast was the size of a small town at best, and an entire village at worst. Covering it's body were tan, shining scales that were nearly impenetrable to conventional weaponry, and carried a total magical immunity. The thickest portion of it's hide was around the bones, where the scales there were invulnerable to any types of magic or light weaponry. Upon it's back, Sal'uun carried 14 spines which were vestigial in nature, however could still be used as a powerful weapon if need be. A massive jaw and razor sharp teeth encompassed the beings mouth, occasionally carrying the ability to spew forth razor winded sands. He spoke in poems and haiku's, and tended to remain patient and emotionally uninterested when speaking to mortals.
Ulmai
</div>

Ulmai was a precarious and rather shy being, only 5'0 in height, and extremely lanky in terms of stature. Brittle to his core, Ulmai preferred to use diplomacy and tact to solve any tense situations, compared to his other chosen brethren. A master in regenerative arts, he was unparalleled in his ability to bring back even the most destroyed and unrecognizable corpses there were. While he did have power of the wind, he often had no need for it, as he avoided not only violence, but people in general when he was not out on a task for his Dragon.

<div style="color:#009EE3;">
Description
</div>

Hurzava was a unique creature among the Elder Dragons for being remarkably different in shape and size compared to his counterparts. While a lanky 106m in length, Hurzava's body didn't thicken and spread like the other dragons, and took the shape of the more insectoid dragonfly, with an extremely long and loose length, and only 70m in width. This was markedly pronounced by his unique wingspan, which was actually a large pair of dragon wings split in two, resulting in four wings which flapped and moved at different times then one another. Because of this change, his four legs were rather stumpy, but Hurzava only needed to land once every few hundred years to rest. His scales were covered in a dazzling sky blue all across his form, and on his underbelly a pale white shined in the shaded and often dark exterior of the night. Often seen as a bolt in the sky, Hurzava was stated as a bringer of storms, and one who was rather hot tempered. His lightning breath and infinite storms could bring even the most robust civilizations to their knees. Despite this, in some cultures he was seen as the opposite, and few in ancient times have supposedly witnessed his approach to land to provide healing and kindness to those deserving, and death to those not.
Zaul
</div>

A tall, dark, and lanky figure, Zaul emanated much of his Dragon's features. He was not outgoing, but he was also not shy by any means, instead preferring to interact one on one so that he could more effectively charm and manipulate those he speaks with. Zaul scarcely resorted to direct violence and preferred to use those around him to get what he wanted and serve his Dragon's will. On certain occasions, Zaul could become angered. When pushed to his breaking point, Zaul was prone to more voilent mannerisms, in which he exceled at acidic magic and and the ability to blast peoples eardrums with a single loud shout.

<div style="color:#885E89;">
Description
</div>

Ezikia was a Dragon who had long since lost their original identity. The withered yet massive purple scaled dragon had lost all of its wingspan, leaving only its bones scarred and surrounded by its scales, making it unable to fly. Coming in at 94m in length and 55m in width, much of the mass of Ezikia was in the massively reinforced skull on her head that served as a tunnel and pest clearer when she desired to move about. Alone, deep underground and covered in soot and stone, Ezikia is often blamed for the worlds earthquakes when she moved about, or slammed her head into the walls of her den. Notorious as a hoarder, rumor carried that hundreds of Tsels of lost artifacts and valuables were within her massive hoard where she rested, preferring not to be disturbed and left to her own devices. Very rarely would she come to the surface, boring a massive hole in the earth that left scar marks upon it in the forms of entrances into the deep and dwarven run below the surface of the earth.
Fylthir
</div>

The oldest chosen of any of the Dragons, Fylthir was a being capable of almost immeasurable psionic magic of all kinds. While he carried the innate power of ice, he prefers to use tricks and illusions in battle. When speaking to people in general, however he was generally calm, cryptic, and very stoic, hardly showing any emotion-of which he had none due to his Dragonmarks effects. Standing at a demeaning 5'6, Fylthir was rather short, but tended to still be more intimidating than the taller people around him. Short Ivory horns and dark blue mutton chops adorned his rather handsome visage, and a gold cloak covers a yellow shirt adorned with precious jewels.
<div style="color:#71DAC4;">
Description
</div>

An ancient, primordial dragon, the being known as "Elduredlar" was often seen as a cold, emotionless beast who used the greed of others to secure their loyalty, or their downfall. Bearing the Diameter of 100 meters in length, and 78 meters in width, this mighty beast carried a large, white-scaled underbelly, and a frosty blue shell upon its upper half. A stone like color was striped along his figure running from snout to tail in streaks. This same pattern also covered its wings, but both variants seem to carry the same general toughness. The scales of Elduredlar were extremely thick, and are nigh impenetrable to minor conventional weaponry. In addition, these scales also carried total immunity against all known spells. Elduredlar carried spikes upon his back, protruding out like that of icicles, gnarled and threateningly sharp. In his mouth were countless rows of razor sharp teeth, which serrate and tear at anything that is seen as a feast for the frozen dragon. In addition to this, the mighty beast carried the ability to spew forth frost, which freezes even the toughest of materials in mere seconds of contact, increasing in intensity the closer the plume is to the dragon.
