Sun Scorpions possess an armored chitin that is very tough and durable. Skilled tailors have found ways to safely detach the chitin from a Sun Scorpion in order to fit it for armor.

==Special==
*The chitin of a sun scorpion is capable of deflecting arrows and is otherwise immune to other forms of piercing damage.
**This effect is only active when wearing a large article of clothing of the material.
*Sun Scorpion Chitin is also resistant to slashing damage but is extremely brittle to blunt weaponry.
**Unarmed tier six is capable of applying the same blunt effect.
