An eruption rocks the world as the center of The Nine Circles breathes out, and in the aftermath, a normal yet strange metal lies in its wake around the epicenter. Blightsteel is a metal from the hellish realm of Farcanith, somehow finding its way to the surface. It appears like normal steel, yet with a darkened red tint to the steel. The hum and the tint grow louder and darker the closer the metal is brought to a chosen of the gods.

Color

Steely with a faint red, grows to be dark crimson within close vicinity to a Blessed.

Rarity

Legendary.

Traits

  • Malleability: Low.
  • Magnetic: Yes.
  • Conductivity of Heat: High.
  • Primary Uses: Weapons.

Special

  • Blightsteel becomes a dark crimson when in close proximity to a Blessed.
  • Blightsteel is to Blessed as silver is to the profane. Blightsteel will cut swiftly through the flesh and bones of a Blessed and will leave the skin and muscles left behind rotting and dead.
  • If Blightsteel is wielded as a weapon by one walking the path of the demon, the metal becomes searing in heat. It glows lowly with heat, and will cut through non-metal armors easily; searing flesh, clothing, and anything it cuts through.
