Nehemoth

Nehemoth serves as one of the great Angels upon which Veltes garners advisory from. Donning a more extravagant guise, the being Nehemoth is clad in an ancient, crimson red suit of armor that contains much of his divine power and form. Born into the world by Veltes himself upon the dawn of chaos, the Angel of Vengeance upholds his duties zealously as a Justicar, destroying any and all opposition that dares to defy the Deities rule of law. He is more often seen then his counterpart upon the mortal plane, due to his duties as a vanguard rather than a primarily advisory role. When his enemies meet him upon the field of battle, they know that the end of their reign has come.

Germael

Germael was an angel born of strife. Originally created during a time of crises, Germael was formed as the Angel of Wisdom, to direct Veltes as an adviser during the dark times of the first Human-Elven war. Germael stands clad in an ancient silver armor, full of holy patterns and insignia's, along with massive angelic wings that allows him to take flight at amazing speeds. He represents the pinnacle of what man could achieve in purity, and fights countless battles alongside Nehemoth to purge the world of all chaos that has ravaged the once beautiful landscape. Despite his Rival status with the other Angel, they come to a bitter cooperation of what must be done in the name of their lord. Armed as a massive 9'3" angelic knight, Germael stands as the strongest Demi-servant known to mortal kind, even to this day.

Mythos

Whose minds could imagine, or eyes grace what occurred upon the mortal plane? Most assuredly, the budding Pantheon had no concept of the cruelty and indignation of their creations. Hatred, anger, despair. . . and most certainly of all, death, tore apart the mortal world with such savagery.

The advent of Death, by the command of the Balancekeeper, had scarred the mortal realm and tore it apart with a ferocity that none had previously imagined to be possible. As it were, their powers remained nigh infinite, but not even they possessed not the ability to see the future. What came after an action was always fluid, changing like the tides of a great ocean. The members of the Pantheon convened at this sight, determined to end the chaos. Arvora's visage was torn with despair, and the Infinite stared down upon the world with a fury undying. The Gatekeeper, as young as he was, with the countenance of the Mother of Arcana stood to stifle this impending disaster.

In her infinite wisdom, Vikret suggested to the rest that the creation of a deity whose charge would be to pacify and make placid the chaos that ravaged the mortal realms must be formed taking a portion of each of themselves, the greatest four of these began the process of creating a being whose domains would put forth Morality among the populace, Justice among their leaders, and Punishment among the criminals.

Imbued upon the newly formed deity, was a sense of absolute justice, along with both mercy and wrath in equal part. The name that this Deity bore was none other then Veltes, and he gazed upon the world with justified fury. His task had begun. Bring stability to the realm of mortals, and prevent the destruction of all life that had been created to the dark clutches of Chaos.

Veltes Doctrine

  • The gift of free will must never be taken for granted.
  • Thou shalt respect all soldiers, for they are heroes in their own right.
  • Fairness and Punishment must be upheld in all things, lest disorder take hold.

Plane of Origin

The Fortress of Judgement

Deep within the endless void, past countless of worlds and infinite stars lies the plane of Veltes. Inside this realm of grandeur, a vast city of quartz and gold lies upon the horizon. Spires and archways pierce the cloudy skies of the city at nearly every point. Massive statues, attributing to the many heroic deeds man has done shine brightly along the countless boardwalks and palaces that occupy the inner city.

At the very center of it all lies a massive Citadel of immense size and stature. It's shape is that of a Star, with five "wings" pointing outwards from the walls. At the very center lies the Spire of Veltes, where a massive council chamber resides, and where countless judgments are made upon the mortal planes. From here Veltes draws upon his divine power, and is able to enforce his will upon the chaos that ravages innumerable worlds.

Ideal Realm

The ideal realm of Veltes is one where great acts of heroism are commonplace, and the law is upheld equally in both Justice and Punishment across the lands.

Relations

Holds a suspicion toward Vassas and Vikret. Wages a silent war with the god of Chaos. Holds a bond of family toward Sterk. And is Uncaring to any other member of the Pantheon.

Myths and Speculation

  • Legend carries that Veltes's Angels are sometimes seen as shooting stars, falling down to earth as they engage in combat with the threats that seek to destroy mortal life.
