While Ephimoria is the main world in which the story takes place, there exists a shattered dimension far outside of our knowledge. Within the center of this mystery lays the fracture, a great scar which within contains the infinitely coalesced possibilities and concepts of a now broken multiverse.
The Lost Powers
Once the supreme rulers of the multiverse, the Gods and their servants were absolute beings with powers beyond mortal understanding. Each with their own circles of influence, they controlled all that had to do with their domain. Despite this, their fate beyond the fracture is unknown. Beings once borne of Farcanith, they commanded incredible power and plagued the multiverse with their actions, bringing destruction wherever they roamed. Ancient creatures who had apocalyptic abilities, their wars caused the continents of the previous worlds to split. Having stayed mostly dormant before the shattering, these great beings spawned the Draxgar and Danakov into existence. Those who dwelled in The Fey Wilds, they were the rulers of their respective seasons. The Archfey were children of Arvora, whose speech commanded the very world around them. The Vaya Lords were manifestations of the concepts that they represented. Existing within their own planes, they seldom interacted with the mortal world before the shattering. |
The Aurum | The Soul |
The shell surrounding a soul that allows a being to manipulate forces such as Aura, Mana, and Shakti. | Coming in several forms, it is what gives a being sentience, consciousness, and life. |
The Forces
In the beginning, the two forces of Creation and Absence are what form the basic fundamentals of thought. These two forces remain naturally opposed in an everlasting and unmoving struggle. However, the aspects of Creation are stronger than that of Absence. The very idea of Absence cannot exist without something being created to be destroyed. And so this struggle continues in an eternal cycle, each energy filling out a certain portion of all realms.

Realms
There are countless realms untraversed by those residing in Aethius, and every once and a while the denizens of this world can peek into strange and forbidden places. Items can sometimes slip through to our world, and at times traversal between the realms is possible.
