A stance was a basic fundamental that changes the way an Origin Mage was capable of performing in the field in a wild variety of ways. Each stance had their own benefits and drawbacks which changed the way they worked. An origin mage could only ever adopt one stance at a time, and they can only change it when they had their spark lit or ascended to a higher ranking (Note: Archmages could not switch stance unless they demote. They would be required to retake the Gambit of Arcana if they do so.) These affected all spells unless specified otherwise in the stances. Spells could go over the 5 mana max limit in terms of cost, but not under 1 and cast times could not fall below 2 turns at minimum. All spells were applied as if for neutral stance unless the spells required a specific stance to utilize (Note: Spells must have had a legitimate reason to be stance specific.)
